Yuval Naor 2025

Yuval Naor is a visual artist working in photography, video art, installations, and digital media.
He graduated with honors from the Photography Department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2019 and participated in the student exchange program at the Academy of Fine Arts (HGB) in Leipzig, Germany, in Professor Joachim Brohm’s class. In his works, he explores the intersections between the natural, the cultural, and the technological, examining how contemporary reality and history are structured in relation to them.
His works are based on acts of appropriation, theft, and manipulation, primarily using readymade imagery and objects. Through these actions, he aims to shift the materials he works with and disrupt dominant truths and narratives.
Naor has been awarded, among others, the Makov Prize for Promising Artist (2024) and the Rami Halperin Prize for Excellence in Photography (2020) He has exhibited in various exhibitions, and his works are included in institutional and private collections.
